Appearance
Shape, function, perception and surroundings are important starting points when developing a school building. A school building needs to fit into the neighbourhood and must comply with the current regulations regarding the external appearance of buildings. But it also has to be a pleasant place to be. Light, space, colour and use of materials play an important role here. In cooperation with architects and project developers Verlaat Uden Bouwsystemen realises the most attractive school buildings.
Climate control
Children need to be able to concentrate, just as well as teachers. That requires a healthy interior climate. Air quality is one factor that determines the health of pupils and teachers. We place systems that influence the air quality and the temperature in the building. We apply the most modern techniques. At research & development we closely work together with innovators and professors. Only qualified installation firms are allowed to place the environment-friendly and energy-saving installations.
Safety
A current issue of interest is safety. Day-care centres and school buildings are not complete nowadays without access control, fencing-off of the outside area, video recording and alarm systems. As early as in the design phase we take your desired safety level into account.
Multi-functionality
An assembly hall that also serves as a canteen and as a location for out-of-school (OOS) childcare. A standard classroom where chemistry lessons need to be given as well.
